BETWEEN SESSIONS

Make time for a walk around Hongo.

01

Yasuda Auditorium & campus architecture

The red-brown tower of Yasuda Auditorium is a familiar campus landmark. A walk outdoors between sessions offers a different view of university life.

02

Sanshiro Pond & green paths

Among the academic buildings, the pond and surrounding trees offer a quieter setting. The contrast with the streets outside is part of Hongo’s appeal.

03

Step into Hongo

Outside the gates, neighbourhood streets offer places to eat and stop for coffee. Continue a conversation from the meeting while exploring the area.

Hongo is an active teaching and research campus. Please follow the university’s visitor guidance when walking around or entering buildings.

A little more Tokyo, before or after the meeting.
